Florida State University Brand

University Marketing recently added a third mark for the university, the wordmark, and created an entire ecosystem for departments across campus. I helped refine the wordmark, typeset the departmental logos, create design templates and implement the use of new brand across campus.

The univeristy has historically only had 2 official colors. As part of the brand update, we chose and named additional colors to standardize the color palette across campus.
The names are significant to campus and the vault colors are a callback to vintage branding. Gulf Sands referrences our Panama City campus and Westcott Water and Legacy Blue are nods to our iconic fountains.
